Hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day! For now, I’ll leave you with a quick post on French manicure colors in fading polka dots: the base color is Lynn by Julep, and the white is Alpine Snow by OPI (any white nail polish will do!). Lynn is a light pink color with a tint of coral and it leaves a really subtle metallic finish.
Start with the base color, apply the polka dots and before they dry completely, use a top coat to blur and create fading effects. With the top coat, I pressed the brush harder on the tips of my nails and also brushed them over a few times so the polka dots were even less distinct on the tips.
Thoughts and comments welcomed!
The colors: Lynn by Julep; Alpine Snow by OPI; Good to Go (top coat) by Essie.
